Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Conduct research on trends, customer preferences, styling, and price points; analyze mood boards to decide suitable materials, motifs, and colors

Understand merchandising requirements and buyer inputs.

Ensure accuracy and alignment with buyer and merchandising inputs

Prepare, review, and revise CADs for approvals and sampling

Coordinate with merchandisers on buyer feedback, finalize production-ready designs, and maintain organized design files and daily submission records

Address design-related queries from merchandising, sourcing, production, suppliers, and clients, providing technical clarity as needed

Collaboration with team and clients

SKILLS

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop software

Trend forecasting and market research skills

Knowledge of digital printing, embroidery, and textile development processes

Excellent written and verbal communication skill

Strong visualization and presentation skills

Time management and ability to meet deadlines

Work Experience

Bachelors in textile & design
