About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and creative Textile Designer with a strong understanding of fabrics, weaving, prints, embroidery, and surface ornamentation. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for trends and the ability to create innovative textile designs that align with our brand's fashion direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop textile designs for sarees, ethnic wear, contemporary fashion, and seasonal collections. Create print patterns, weave layouts, embroidery artworks, and fabric development boards. Collaborate closely with the design team to conceptualize and execute moodboards and collection themes. Work with mills, artisans, and vendors to ensure accurate execution of textile designs. Explore new techniques, materials, and trends in the textile and fashion industry. Maintain design files, swatches, and technical sheets for sampling and production. Ensure timely delivery of designs, swatches, and artworks based on the seasonal calendar.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or textile design software. Strong knowledge of fabrics, weaving processes, printing techniques, dyes, and color theory. Ability to translate concepts into commercially viable textile designs. Experience in handloom, ethnic wear, or contemporary fashion is an added advantage. Strong visualization skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively and manage timelines effectively.
