Textile Design Intern

to contribute fresh ideas and creative energy to our growing wallpaper collections.

Role Overview

As a

Textile Design Intern

, you will assist the design team in conceptualizing, developing, and preparing wallpaper designs for Mahatta Art. This includes working with textures, patterns, and colors, and adapting them for digital formats suitable for print.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in creating original textile-inspired patterns for wallpaper collections. Digitize and adapt artworks and illustrations for wallpaper format. Conduct visual research on global and Indian design trends in interiors and textile patterns. Support in editing, layout, and presentation of collections using design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). Collaborate with photographers, art curators, and creative leads. Prepare mockups and client-facing visual material.

Skills Required

Design & Technical Skills

Strong understanding of

pattern design

and repeat layouts. Proficiency in

Adobe Photoshop

and

Illustrator

(Bonus: InDesign or Procreate). Ability to

digitally illustrate

and adapt designs for print. Good grasp of

color theory

and design aesthetics. Basic knowledge of

digital textile/wallpaper printing processes

is a plus.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
