Job Description

1. Analyse of fabric design sample to create as same.

2. Creative flair and artistic ability with a good eye for colour, texture, fabrics and patterns, understanding and experience of using different textile techniques designs

3. Experimenting with colour, fabric and texture with design skills and the ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) packages.

4. Undertaking research for ideas and inspiration.

5. Accurately interpreting and representing clients' ideas.

6. Considering how the textile will be used and what properties it needs to software.

7. Liaising with customers and interpreting their ideas and needs accurately.

8. Solving technical issues : candidates should be able to follow up with customer & solve all technical issues.

9. Proficient in Ms Office.

10. Designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

11. Good communication and team working skills

The day-to-day responsibilities of a textile designer include:

1. Excellent attention to detail, excellent communication with internal team, also with customer and textile skills.

2. Good communication skills. working independently, if self-employed, or liaising closely with colleagues as part of a small team.

3. Accurately interpreting and representing clients' ideas with team.

4. Working out design formulae for a group of samples

5. Using specialist software and computer-aided design (CAD) programs to develop a range of designs

6. Have the production techniques and textile technology.

7. CAD application manual checking and testing as per textile standards.

8. Reporting senior staff.

9. Working with clients, technical staff, marketing and CAD customer.

10. Team working and attention to detail.

11. Strong problem-solving and creative skills in textile designing.

12. Technical support to costumer by mail, chatting, remote and personal visit to customers.

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
