Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting Tests:

Performing a variety of tests to evaluate functionality, reliability, and durability of products, systems, or components.

Documenting Results:

Recording and interpreting test data, compiling reports, and presenting findings to relevant stakeholders.

Maintaining Equipment:

Ensuring test equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and in optimal working condition.

Troubleshooting:

Identifying and diagnosing faults and malfunctions, and working to resolve issues.

Collaborating with Teams:

Working with engineers, quality assurance teams, and other technicians to ensure product quality.

Following Procedures:

Adhering to established testing procedures and protocols, and contributing to their improvement.

Reporting Issues:

Communicating any problems or anomalies discovered during testing through appropriate channels.

Software Testing:

In some cases, may involve software testing, including writing test cases, executing tests, and reporting bugs.

Materials Testing:

In some industries, may be responsible for testing the properties of materials like metals, plastics, or composites.
