Experience



Minimum

8+ years

of experience in

testing and validating electric motors

. Minimum

3+ years

of experience in a

managerial or supervisory role

Duties & Responsibilities



Develop and manage

comprehensive testing strategies

for electric motors -- including functional, performance, endurance, and safety tests. Lead and supervise the

testing team

, assign tasks, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely execution of testing activities. Design and implement

test procedures, fixtures, and validation protocols

for prototype and production motors. Ensure compliance with

international standards

(IEC, NEMA, UL, IEEE) and customer specifications. Analyze test results, prepare detailed

test reports

, and communicate findings to engineering, production, and quality teams. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (CFT) for

Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D, and FMEA

. Maintain and calibrate

testing equipment

; ensure a safe, organized, and efficient testing environment. Work with R&D and design engineering to support

new product development

and validation. Handle

customer witness tests

and ensure customer satisfaction during inspections. Manage documentation -- including test plans, procedures, reports, and quality control records -- for audits. Represent department in

internal/external audits

and drive

continuous improvement

in testing processes for efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.

Skills Required



Proven expertise in

routine and prototype testing

of electric HT/LT AC motors, DC motors, alternators, and converters. Strong understanding of

testing standards

(IEC, IEEE, NEMA, UL). Excellence in

blower testing

as per design CFM and specifications. Proficiency in handling

test equipment

: Megger, Resistance Meter, Clamp Meter, PI Tester, Vibration Meter, HV Tester, Oscilloscope, etc. Awareness of

ISO audits, standards, and documentation practices

. Exposure to

ERP systems

preferred. Excellent

problem-solving
