Job Opening: Testing Engineer - Transformer Lubrication Machines

Location:

On-site (Inside company premises)

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Salary:

?15,000/month for freshers; negotiable for experienced candidates

Experience:

Freshers or 1-2 years preferred

Education:

B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) / ECE

Job Responsibilities:

Perform validation and functional testing of transformer lubrication machines. Verify the operation of solenoid valves, sensors, and other actuating devices during testing cycles. Identify and fix leaks in pipelines and pressurized valve systems during the testing process. Monitor and evaluate device readings from the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and report deviations. Assist in assembling and connecting test oil pipelines to machine inlets and outlets during each validation cycle. Occasionally remove and refit oil-filled pressure vessel lids to rectify issues and ensure tight sealing.

Required Skills & Attributes:

Basic understanding of fluid handling systems, solenoid valves, and electrical controls. Ability to follow test procedures and record observations accurately. Physically fit and willing to work in a non-air-conditioned industrial environment. Good observation skills and mechanical aptitude are important. Willingness to engage in hands-on field-level tasks including minor assembly adjustments and leak checks.

Work Environment:

This is an on-field role within the company premises--not a desk job. Involves handling transformer oil and working with oil-carrying equipment. The role requires physical involvement such as pipeline connections, leak inspections, and handling equipment under real test conditions. No air-conditioned cabin environment; the work takes place on the shop floor and in the testing area.
