Position: Testing Engineer

Department: Quality Assurance / Testing

Location: Shirwal,Satara

Qualification & Experience:

B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. 2-5 years of experience in transformer testing (distribution & power). Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals and practical exposure can also be considered.
Key Skills & Competencies:

In-depth understanding of transformer electrical parameters and testing procedures. Hands-on experience with high-voltage and high-current test equipment. Analytical and documentation skills. Strong focus on safety and accuracy. Ability to interact with customers and auditors during FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine, type, and special tests on distribution and power transformers as per IEC/IS/ANSI standards. Operate and maintain test bay equipment (HV test sets, impulse generator, transformer turns ratio meter, partial discharge equipment, etc.). Record, analyze, and interpret test data to ensure compliance with customer specifications. Prepare detailed test reports and documentation for customer inspection and internal records. Coordinate with production/design teams to resolve deviations found during testing. Ensure calibration and health of testing instruments. Support customer and third-party inspection (TPI). Implement safety standards during HV testing operations.

Pay: ₹233,824.44 - ₹1,024,271.49 per year
