Position Overview:

The Medical Safety Test Engineer is responsible for testing medical devices in the safety lab according to relevant standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and coordinating with customers on technical specifications and updates. This role requires hands-on experience in medical device testing as per IEC 60601-1 and its particular standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Specifications and Testing:

Define technical specifications for the suitability of testing medical devices. Conduct tests on medical devices in accordance with IEC 60601-1 and its particular standards. Ensure all testing procedures are performed accurately and efficiently.

Project Management:

Ensure the execution of projects within defined timelines. Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise. Coordinate with customers to update them on the latest developments in the corresponding area of testing.

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate relevant information, instructions, and objectives to team members transparently.

QHSE

+ Ensuring job safety including the availability and usage of PPE. + Ensure incident reporting functioning.
+ Collect and document evidence of risk assessments for work activities of local business streams from HSE committee
+ Ensuring implementation & monitoring of corporate HSE management system requirements which is in alignment with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards and ensure effective processes for managing HSE, as relayed from the QHSE desk
+ Ensure adherence & cascading of the HSE roles, responsibilities & accountabilities as defined in MS-0047700-HSE Roles Responsibilities & Authorities, within the location.
+ Comply and ensure implementation of the company's and the customer's Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Process requirements.

Experience & Further Qualifications

* + Degree with 3+years/ Diploma with 3+ of Experience in testing and certification of Medical Devices .
