Role Description

We are looking for Sr. Test Automation Engineer having experience on Python, Selenium, Java, API Automation and JMeter. Experience with GCP, JavaScript/TypeScript and BDD Cucumber will be added advantage. The candidate should have experience on designing & developing Automation Framework(s). The candidate should be proficient in SQL and Unix commands. The candidate must have good communication skill.

Your key responsibilities

Individual contributor & Sr. Test Automation Engineer role within the Project. Responsible to define the Test Automation Strategy & Plans at Application level as well as at each Release level Responsible to design & develop Automation Framework for Backend automation and Process automation Responsible to automate API Testing, ETL tests, database testing. Comply with the organization's existing SDLC & QA standards & also introduce industry best practices within Test Automation / QA. Communicate with multiple roles within development team & produce reports to Senior Management. Work alongside Test Lead to drive the vision for Team ahead Guide the new team members and help in scaling up team MUST have MINIMUM 8 years of HANDS-ON experience in automating tests. MUST have experience in design & development of Automation Framework(s). MUST have strong analytical & coding skills using Python/Java/JavaScript Working knowledge of JMeter will be a plus MUST have hands on experience in writing medium to high complex SQL queries MUST have excellent verbal and written communications. Should have experience in developing test automation framework for implementing continuous integration. Should have experience in / exposure to tools like HP ALM, CI tools-Jenkins, Bitbucket, JIRA etc. Exposure to GCP will help.

Your skills and experience

Overall IT experience -: 6-8 years (Associate) / 8-12 years (AVP) Relevant Experience (Test Automation) -: Preferably same else we're fine with below relevant experience... Associate - 4-5 year.


AVP - 8-10 years.

Should have experience on...


Test Automation framework development or framework enhancement. We're specifically looking for a resource who has actively contributed to either framework development or enhancement. Not that resource who just executed the test suite with the help of framework. Java, Python, JavaScript / Typescript. API Testing Should have worked on BDD. Selenium Webdriver. UI Automation with -:

WebdriverIO / Karate for Angular apps automation

. Strong SQL knowledge. Good knowledge of Unix commands. Should have experience on CICD tools like Jenkins/Teamcity. Should have experience on working with code management tools like GIT, BitBucket Should be able to provide solution on complex test automation issues. Keen on research on different technologies regarding test automation. Able to setup framework from scratch in bank approved technology stack. Should be ready to work as a function tester (as and when needed) Good communication skill. Below are some expectations from AVP... + People management capabilities.
+ Handling deliveries under pressure.
+ Managing multiple deliveries at the same time.
Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members. Ability to balance business demands and IT fulfilment in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility.

Advantage

Experience in / exposure to Investment Bank / Financial Markets / Compliance domain(s). Working experience in Safe Agile methodology. Strong experience on performance / NFRs testing and its associated tools and components.

Education and Qualification

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
