Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong ALM and JIRA knowledge
  • Strong Testing knowledge
  • Good exposure to waterfall and agile practices and terminologies
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Should have exposure to Automation script development skills
  • Knowhow of VB scripting, Excel Macros, QTP/UFT/Selenium skills
  • Assist in the definition and documentation of test strategies
  • Act as a key contributor in the continued automation development and Frameworks Maintenance
  • Effectively manage multiple streams of work and to deliver in a timely manner
  • Experience with web testing methods and writing SQL queries (SQL Server 2012 and higher)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision, adapting quickly to new technologies
  • Ability to quickly comprehend project goals/requirements, identify holes/omissions and testing challenges/impediments
  • Ability to deliver on ideas from concept through to implementation
  • Help team resolve queries
  • Demonstrate understanding of formal software test design techniques
  • Communicate effectively (verbal and written) on both a technical and business level
  • Demonstrate ability to gather and understand requirements
  • Utilize good analysis skills in order to aid in trouble shooting and problem solving
  • Demonstrate good testing and defect management skills
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and specifically QA & UAT process and test methodologies

Required Skillset/Experience:
  • Graduated in Computer science, Computer engineering, math, or related engineering fields (E.g. B.Sc., B.E or MCA, M.Tech in Computers / Electronics etc.,)
  • 6+ years software testing experience with manual and automation testing
  • Experience creating test plans, test scenarios, test scripts & defect management required.
