Tester (QA Engineer)

Role: Software Testing & Quality Assurance

Job Summary:We're seeking a skilled Tester/QA Engineer to ensure quality and reliability of our software applications/products. You'll design test cases, execute tests, identify defects, and collaborate with teams for quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:1. Testing Activities:

- Design, execute test cases based on requirements.

- Perform functional, regression, integration testing.

- Validate software against functional and non-functional requirements.

2. Defect Management:

- Identify, report, track defects/bugs using tools like JIRA.

- Collaborate with developers for defect resolution.

3. Test Automation:

- Work on automation testing using tools like Selenium (if applicable).

4. Collaboration:

- Work with development team, project managers for project deliverables.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies if working in Agile environment.

5. Quality Focus:

- Contribute to ensuring overall software quality.

- Suggest improvements for testing processes.

Requirements:1. Testing Skills:

- Experience in software testing/QA methodologies.

- Knowledge of test case design, execution.

2. Technical Skills:

- Familiarity with testing tools, bug tracking tools.

- Basic understanding of SDLC helpful.

3. Attention to Detail:

- Strong attention to detail for effective testing.

4. Communication:

- Good communication skills for reporting, collaboration.
