About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented

QA Engineer

who is skilled in both

manual and automation testing

. You will work closely with our development team to ensure high-quality releases through effective testing processes, automation frameworks, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute

manual and automated test cases

for web and mobile applications. Understand project requirements and identify

test scenarios

,

test data

, and

test coverage

. Perform

functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing

. Write and maintain

automation scripts

using tools such as

Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Appium

(as applicable). Detect, document, and track defects using tools like

JIRA / Bugzilla / Azure DevOps

. Participate in

code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups

to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle. Ensure adherence to

QA standards and best practices

. Work collaboratively with developers and product teams to reproduce issues and validate fixes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science, IT, or a related field

.

1-3 years

of experience in

software testing

(manual + automation). Strong understanding of

STLC, SDLC

, and

defect management process

. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as

Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium

. Knowledge of

test frameworks

(JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, etc.) and

CI/CD integration

(Jenkins, GitLab, etc.). Experience with

API testing

using

Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools

. Good understanding of

database testing

(writing SQL queries). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

Experience in

performance or security testing

. Familiarity with

version control systems

(Git). Knowledge of

Agile / Scrum methodologies

.
