:: QA Lead - D365 Finance and Operations (F&O)Job Title:QA Lead D365 Finance and OperationsHiring Location: Kochi/Trivandrum/Hyderabad/Pune/Bangalore/Chennai/NoidaExperience Range:4 to 6 yearsMust-Have Skills:

• D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in D365 F&O modules, especially Accounts Receivables, Procure to Pay, and Tax.
• Functional Testing Expertise Proficiency in designing and executing functional test cases for D365 F&O modules.
• Test Planning & Execution Ability to create detailed test scripts, test plans, and manage test reports.
• Team Leadership Proven experience in leading a testing team, guiding and mentoring junior testers.
• Test Case Design & Development Expertise in identifying test scenarios based on user stories/requirements and developing efficient test cases/scripts.
• Test Data Management Experience in setting up and executing tests using relevant test data.
• Defect Management Ability to identify, log, and track defects, as well as conduct retesting.
• Test Reporting Proficiency in reporting test activities, progress, and defects clearly to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Testing Methodologies In-depth understanding of various testing methodologies (e.g., manual testing, regression testing, smoke testing, etc.).
• Problem-Solving Strong ability to identify ambiguities in user stories and requirements, propose solutions, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Tools Knowledge Familiarity with testing tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar for defect tracking and test management.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Supply Chain Management (SCM) Experience with SCM processes and testing them within the D365 F&O environment.
• Automation Testing Basic experience with test automation tools is a plus.
• Domain Knowledge Understanding of the business context, particularly in areas like finance, procurement, or supply chain, within D365.
• Agile Environment Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment and collaborating with development and business teams.
• Gap Analysis Ability to conduct gap analysis between requirements and the technology stack to ensure proper system fitment.
• Proficiency in Reporting & Metrics Experience in creating productivity reports, metrics, and tracking KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Scenario Construction: Create detailed test scenarios based on customer user stories and requirements.
• Test Case Development: Develop systematic test cases for applications based on the constructed test scenarios.
• Test Execution: Execute test cases and ensure that components/systems perform as expected, meeting the required standards for usability, performance, reliability, and compatibility.
• Defect Tracking & Reporting: Log, track, and report defects. Provide timely updates on test activities and defect status.
• Team Guidance & Mentorship: Assist in the development and proficiency of other testers, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Process Improvement: Facilitate changes in testing processes based on lessons learned to optimize team productivity.
• Test Documentation: Maintain detailed test case/script documentation, and document results from executed tests.
• Test Estimates: Estimate time, effort, and resource dependencies for test activities and deliverables.

Expected Outcomes & Measures:

• Timely completion of all testing activities.
• Clear documentation of requirement/user story ambiguities.
• Thorough test case coverage based on user stories/requirements.
• Execution and tracking of test cases with benchmarks.
• Valid defects identified and resolved effectively.
• Continuous improvement in test processes based on feedback and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in QA and testing within the D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) environment.
• Experience working with Accounts Receivables, Procure to Pay, and Tax modules is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) domain.
• Proven leadership and team management experience in a testing environment.
