About The Job:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in software testing and validation.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking, Windows systems, manual and automation testing, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• This role requires expertise in test planning, execution, and defect analysis, ensuring high-quality software solutions.
• The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to test strategy development, automation implementation, and process improvements.

Essential Job Functions:

• Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and system testing.
• Develop and execute test cases, including acceptance criteria, to validate software functionality and performance.
• Conduct manual and automation testing, identifying and documenting defects while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Participate in client interactions, providing technical insights and progress updates.
• Assist in resource estimation, test environment setup, and process optimization.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
• Reproduce, prioritize, and escalate defects based on severity and business impact.
• Work with developers to verify defect fixes and conduct re-testing.

Qualifications:

• Years of experience needed: 4-6 years of experience

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of Networking and Windows system concepts.
• Hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.
• Good to have familiarity with test scripting and automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Python, or equivalent).
• Experience in writing and executing test cases, acceptance criteria, and defect tracking.
• Knowledge of test metrics collection and analysis to improve testing efficiency.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies is an advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with global teams.

Certifications Needed:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or Electronics & Communications
