Location: BLR, Pune, Chennai, HYD, GGN Skills requirement: Principal Responsibilities The Financial Control function is responsible in delivering the Strategic Priorities of the Group Finance CFO and Group CRO with respect to regulatory reporting obligations and the integrity of this information as it pertains to public disclosures. Liquidity and IRRBB regulatory reporting are high profile and material elements of the Group?s regulatory reporting obligations and are critical to the safeguarding of the organisation against liquidity and funding risk and the impact of changes to the external environment. The role holder will:
  • Develop the IRRBB reporting test strategies are and be able to execute testing by prioritising and understanding interdependencies
  • Provide collaborative engagement with Finance Operations, Regulatory Policy, Financial Controllers, Treasury, Treasury Risk Management Treasury Change delivery teams, and regulatory authorities
  • Provide input to Group wide activities and actively support the delivery of key change requirements for projects relating to regulatory reporting obligations for IRRBB in order to comply with regulatory requirements and internal expectations
  • Support the Regional Head of Treasury Regulatory Reporting in the delivery of the Regulatory Reporting Enhancement Programme for Treasury regulatory reports
  • Build string relationships with stakeholders across the region by developing and sharing clear and transparent management information and the timely communication and escalation of issues or threshold trigger breaches
Requirements
  • Understanding appropriate areas of key IRRBB treasury measures as per the Group?s regulatory obligations (FSA017, NTMR, NII sensitivity etc.), Bank financial systems, related business areas, products and their strategic drivers
  • Ability to work independently, manage team and influence key stakeholders to ensure there is alignment on the delivery of key initiatives. The job holder requires agility, as well as the ability to work with ambiguity and to quickly assess and prioritise
  • High knowledge of the regulatory landscape
  • Combination of regulator-facing and business operations/programme leadership skill set preferred
  • Well-developed capacity to process high volumes of complex information and synthesise key themes and issues
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven experience working across business, regional and country dynamics. Understands how conflicts can be managed to deliver material, strategic and high profile programmes with many stakeholders
  • Able to manage self and others with diverse perspectives to deliver to tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills, with the ability to understand the scope of dependencies across the Group for any given programme
  • Proven ability to deliver against multiple objectives as well as stand-alone tactical tasks
