Job Summary

As a Test Automation Tech Lead, Lead will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of robust automation frameworks using Java and Selenium. Tech lead will lead a team of automation engineers, drive best practices, and ensure seamless integration of testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

Technical Leadership

Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver. Define and enforce coding standards, modular scripting, and data-driven testing strategies. Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven. Evaluate and onboard new tools (e.g., Playwright, TestNG, Cucumber) to enhance automation capabilities.

Team Management

Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, conducting code reviews and performance evaluations. Allocate resources effectively across projects and manage workload balancing. Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Test Strategy & Execution

Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to define test strategies aligned with business goals. Oversee creation and execution of automated test cases for functional, regression, and smoke testing. Ensure test coverage across web, API, and backend layers. Track and report defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

Process Optimization

Promote Automation as a Service (AaaS) across business units. Drive continuous improvement in automation processes and framework efficiency.

Maintain reusable test libraries and data sets for cross-project use.
