Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology - Test Lead to lead the testing efforts for our Accounting and Reporting workstream. This role is pivotal in our transition from the current Accounting and Reporting solution to a new Oracle Fusion solution. The successful candidate will oversee the testing of various modules, including Reporting, Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Accounting Model, IFRS17 and Actuarial, Insurance, Re-insurance, Investment, Payroll, Procurement, Expense Allocation, and Consolidation. Additionally, this role will involve integration with our Azure Databricks Data Repository.

Role and Responsibilities

+ Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for the Accounting and Reporting workstream. + Lead and manage the testing team, ensuring all test activities are completed on time and within budget.
+ Coordinate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure alignment on testing requirements and objectives.
+ Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
+ Ensure thorough testing of all modules, including Reporting, Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Accounting Model, IFRS17 and Actuarial, Insurance, Re-insurance, Investment, Payroll, Procurement, Expense Allocation, and Consolidation.
+ Manage the integration testing with Azure Databricks Data Repository.
+ Identify, document, and track defects and ensure their resolution.
+ Implement and manage test automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Python.
+ Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing.

Qualifications

+ Experience Level: Proven experience in facilitating Agile teams that work on complex technical projects, preferably in data-driven environments + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
+ Proven experience as a Technology - Test Lead, preferably in the finance or insurance industry.
+ Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion and its modules.
+ Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, particularly Selenium, Java, and Python.
+ Familiarity with Azure Databricks and data integration processes.
+ Excellent leadership and team management skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred skills

+ Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB). + Experience with Oracle Fusion and ideally fundamentals in data engineering : Azure databricks or data factory stack
+ Experience with Insurance accounting
+ Familiarity with investment, payroll, procurement, and expense allocation processes.
