Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Test Equipment / Maintenance Engineer to support and sustain electronic test systems and infrastructure used in the aerospace industry. The role involves managing test equipment design, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure maximum availability and accuracy of testing for avionics / Actuations systems and high-reliability electronic products.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with test benches, automated test equipment (ATE), debugging complex test issues, and working in compliance with aerospace quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic test equipment, including ATE, test fixtures, power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other lab equipment.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and calibration procedures for test systems in compliance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP, ISO17025).
Support hardware and software maintenance of automated test systems (LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C/C++).
Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to support testability and interface requirements during new product introduction (NPI).
Lead root cause analysis of test equipment failures, intermittent faults, or calibration issues, and implement corrective actions.
Manage test equipment documentation including wiring diagrams, schematics, BOMs, test procedures, and calibration records.
Interface with external vendors for test system repair, upgrades, and external calibrations.
Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, and aerospace regulatory requirements.
Participate in audits and ensure traceability of test assets and calibration records.
Continuously improve test uptime, reliability, and data integrity by applying Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to avionics, control systems, or RF electronics.
Experience in supporting environmental test setups (thermal chambers, vibration systems).
Certifications in IPC-A-610/620, LabVIEW CLAD/CLD, or Six Sigma.
Experience in regulated industries (FAA, EASA, MIL-STD compliance).

Work Experience
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Instrumentation.
4 to 5 years of experience in test equipment maintenance or test engineering within aerospace or high-reliability electronics manufacturing.
Strong troubleshooting skills for analog/digital electronics and electronic test systems.
Familiarity with test automation tools (LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, or similar).
Experience with calibration standards and documentation as per AS9100 or ISO/IEC 17025.
Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, and signal generators.
Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Knowledge of ESD protection, grounding, and aerospace lab safety requirements.
