Job Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. . Responsible for conducting, leading and coordinating test activities throughout the project. . Be a key member of Test team to validate Variable Frequency Drives as per industry, safety and other applicable standards. . Be a customer advocate and influence the team in quality thinking Key tasks . Develop test cases including test conditions and acceptance criteria . Execute the feature/function tests as per plan and publish the results . Analyze and conclude the test results report defects, if any . Co-ordinate with development team for fixing the issues/defects. . Perform retest, regression test and exploratory test . Estimate the effort for various test activities . Reviews of requirements and other relevant documents . Evaluate the need for test infrastructure & build the test infrastructure with the support from laboratory team. . Ensure adherence to QA processes & various tools . Support respective project on Field trials and analyzing any relevant feedbacks. Success Criteria\'s . Delivery as per agreed scope, schedule, cost & quality . Continuous improvement of test procedures and practices . Sharing of best practices across teams . Understanding of Customer use cases and failure mode analysis. . Very good collaboration with team members and stakeholders Important aspects, with impact on the job . Experience in various development models especially Agile and Waterfall . ISTQB Foundation/Advanced/Expert certification . Knowledge about designing simulation-based test setup like HIL . Validation know-how of Industrial communication protocols. Background & Skills Minimum requirements to educational background . Bachelors Degree or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field. Minimum requirements to working experience Minimum of 4+ years of experience in the field of product testing involving hardware and software/firmware. . Experience on various test management tools like Polarion, RQM etc. . Experience on various defect management tools like ClearQuest, JIRA etc. . Knowledge of SDLC & formal test engineering techniques is required. . Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. . Knowledge of test automation/scripting software like Python/Robot framework, etc. . Worked in a global organization with good interpersonal relationship. Essential personal characteristics . Good interpersonal and communication skills. . Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills. . Quality mindset and ability to go to details by asking questions. . High motivation and leading by examples. . Strong content writing skills while during observations in test. . Excellent collaborations in working with global development teams. Desirable aspects . Variable frequency drives or related domain experience. . Experience in testing control electronics and system which uses industrial motors. .
