Your role

We're looking for someone like that who can:

• prepare and execute test cases
• leverage, drive and extend the test automation
• plan, coordinate and execute regression testing
• create test strategies, manage test cases, drive testing roadmap
• lead a small team of QA Engineers, coach and mentor team members
• engage proactively with other QA Managers regarding project statuses, resourcing, risks
• review the test planning and execution work efforts across multiple teams and time zones
• assess risk to the project, based on the execution and validation and make appropriate recommendations
• document all test artifacts including full audit and transparency of traceability from requirements to tests, and evidence of test planning and execution

Your team

Data Science Service is a global organization within Group CTO - Data Platform Services providing technology platforms to underpin our partners business applications. Based in Pune, India, you will be part of the global Data Science team and will report directly into the Data Science Service Manager. The Data Science team has great expertise in all aspects of Alteryx Designer, Server and Data Science.
This role will guarantee widespread exposure to every aspect of the Alteryx product suite and represents a perfect opportunity for any Data Science enthusiast to be part of one of the best deployments of Alteryx in Europe and globally. Your expertise

• strong experience with testing (manual and automated) web services (REST, SOAP),3rd party COTS applications (Alteryx, Tableau or similar products) and databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
• experience with Unix environment, SQL
• a full understanding of SDLC, QA, Defect Lifecycle and agile ways of working
• experience with Test data identification & creation
• exposure to test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Quality Center / ALM, X-Ray)
• automation experience using various tools like QTP, Test Complete, Selenium
• working experience on any of the CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity etc
• knowledge of Azure and/or python will be a plus
