Who are we Smart Products Lab ( BGSW / PJ-SPL) is an innovation platform that offers engineering and software services to experiment, incubate and convert product ideas into minimum viable products in new business fields and adjacencies for Bosch business units globally. The lab is part of the Innovation unit (NE) in Bosch Global Software Technologies and located in Bangalore. Role: Test Engineer Responsibilities: Collaborate with the product team on test strategy Develop test plans and creating test cases for the product Meeting with the product design team to determine product testing parameters. Test Driven Development and documentation Create and Automate QA Tests validate each sprint deploy. Conducting quality assurance and designing performance tests using the new testing procedures Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures. Document final QA and test procedures Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards. Preparing test reports for management. Qualifications Experience level: 5+ years (expertise in Test Automation for enterprise scale web applications - cloud) Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Electronics Engineering Previous work experience as a test engineer for web applications preferably on cloud Strong expertise with testing tools including Test Automation Tools - Selenium / Testing-Whiz / TestComplete / Telerik TestStudio /WatiN and Performance testing tools - Apache Jmeter Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing practices including Test Driven Development (TDD) Good problem-solving skills. Ability to project manage. Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box. High-level technical writing skills. Additional Information Good to Have Experience in Manufacturing and Industrial Technology domain Experience working in high-performant agile software team Experience working in innovation labs
