The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC and specific experience with HR technology, scheduling, and payroll integrations with overall workforce management systems is preferable. Works closely with developers, product managers, and end-users to ensure the delivery of high-quality software that meets business requirements. Daily performs exploratory, regression and integration testing of software products, including software that is part of a bigger system. Approves software changes for release and takes responsibility for assuring that any released company products and solutions meet applicable quality standards. Has solid automation philosophy and mindset as how one designs stable, repeatable tests. Has good understanding of framework design. Candidates have good experience in testing applications on web and mobile devices.
Responsibilities:

• Creates new test scenarios, and applies them in exploratory or regression software testing
• Automates test scenarios using scripting or dedicated tools (preferably Robot Framework, UI Automator etc.)
• Verifies software functionality against user requirements or specifications
• Verifies bug reports provided by customers, works with customers to specify reproduction steps
• Performs integration testing, including cross-platform test setups or interoperability with dedicated Hardware.
• Documents software defects with clearly described test setups and reproduction steps
• Analyses usability and visual consistency of graphical user interfaces
• Compres features against competition, and prepare relevant performance benchmarks
• Creates test plans and maintains test infrastructure
• Creates and maintains unit tests directly at the level of source code, using standard programming languages
• Provides knowledgeable feedback on software design and user experience, exceeding just the compliance with predefined specification
• Supervises processes and configures relevant tools for iteration planning, continuous integration, risk management, release criteria, deployment

Qualifications:

• Minimum Education:

o Bachelors Degree in Engineering(Electronics/Computer Sc./Physics) or Major in Physics

• Minimum Work Experience (years):

o 1-2 Yrs.

• Key Skills and Competencies:

o Working knowledge with some experience in Python scripting, Labview, C++
o Basic knowledge on Data analytics tools and development - Power BI/Looker
o Basic understanding to perform Technical analysis with problem-solving capability associated with the manufacturing or functionality of electronic systems
