Job RequirementsWe are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and performance of our EcoStruxure Power Power Operations (EPO) software. The ideal candidate will have experience with the device domain knowledge, Modbus protocol preferably, Wireshark must be known. effectively test and validate product.Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Develop and implement test plans and test cases for EcoStruxure Power Operations based on system specifications.xc2xb7 Execute various types of testing, including functional, regression, load, and acceptance testing.xc2xb7 Identify, analyze, and document software defects and collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.xc2xb7 Configure and maintain test environments, including setting up devices and communication protocols.xc2xb7 Monitor real-time power consumption data from various electrical equipment and analyze power quality metrics.xc2xb7 Utilize advanced power forensics features to identify the root cause of power events, such as voltage sags, harmonics, and power surges.xc2xb7 Generate detailed test reports and provide feedback to project teams.xc2xb7 Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.xc2xb7 Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and potential issues.xc2xb7 Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure ongoing product quality.Requirements:xc2xb7 Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.xc2xb7 Proven experience as a Test Engineer,xc2xb7 Strong knowledge of electrical systems and power quality principles.xc2xb7 Proficiency in using testing tools and software for power monitoring systems.xc2xb7 Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 61850.xc2xb7 Experience with devices like ION meters, SEL relays, and other power monitoring equipment is preferred.xc2xb7 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.xc2xb7 Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.xc2xb7 Ability to generate clear and concise test documentation and reports.Preferred Qualifications:xc2xb7 7 -10 yrs. Experience in testing with at least 2-3 yrs. in industrial automation systems.xc2xb7 Knowledge of test management strategies and practices.xc2xb7 Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools.Qualifications - ExternalQualifications: * Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication or Computer Science or equivalent
