Summary: As a Test Automation Lead, you will lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to implement quality processes and methodologies, ensuring that testing is not only thorough but also innovative. You will focus on enhancing control, accuracy, and integrity in testing practices, while evolving predictive and intelligent testing approaches that leverage automation and cutting-edge solutions. Role Overview: 1. Highly skilled Test Automation Architect with deep expertise in Java, Selenium, and SDET practices. The ideal candidate will drive automation strategy, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and ensure scalable, reliable test automation frameworks across projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium. 2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation test pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar). 3. Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests in CI/CD. 4. Define automation best practices, coding standards, and reusable components for test frameworks. 5. Guide and mentor SDETs and QA engineers on automation design and problem-solving. Required Skills & Experience: 1. Strong programming expertise in Java. 2. Deep understanding of Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and automation design patterns. 3. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). 4. Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. 5. Proven experience in diagnosing and fixing pipeline and environment issues. 6. Experience with API testing tools (e.g., RestAssured, Postman) is a plus. Nice to Have: 1. Exposure to cloud-based testing (e.g., Selenium Grid). 2. Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). 3. Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Selenium. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
