Responsibilities :
Own and achieve territory sales targets across assigned retail stores.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly store performance and drive corrective actions.
Analyze sales trends, conversion ratios, and productivity metrics.
Prepare and present sales and performance reports to senior management.
Manage, mentor, and motivate store managers and sales teams across the territory.
Conduct regular store visits to ensure sales discipline and execution excellence.
Provide continuous training and coaching on sales effectiveness and product knowledge.
Foster a customer-first, high-performance retail culture.
Ensure consistent standards in customer experience, showroom presentation, and store operations.
Resolve operational challenges in coordination with store managers.
Act as a liaison between retail stores and central leadership teams.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs and automobile/EV regulatory requirements.
Plan and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand and avoid stock aging.
Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to address stock and availability issues.
Oversee launches of new EV models, accessories, and value-added services.
Train store teams on new product features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
Drive local marketing initiatives to increase footfalls and conversion rates.
Collaborate with marketing teams on territory-wide promotions and events.
Execute customer loyalty, referral, and repeat-purchase programs.
Identify new business opportunities and untapped customer segments.
Track competitor activity, pricing, and market trends in the automobile/EV space.
Forecast sales demand and prepare stores for seasonal and future market growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Minimum 3+ years of experience
as a Territory Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager.
Mandatory automobile retail experience
(2W / 3W / EV / automotive dealerships).
Proven experience in
handling multiple retail stores
and field sales teams.
Strong exposure to
dealer/store performance management and operations
.
Experience in
B2C sales
; B2B exposure is an added advantage.
Comfortable working in
startup / fast-paced environments
.
Willingness to travel
10+ days per month
across urban and semi-urban markets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver results under aggressive targets.
Proficiency in the local language is mandatory
