We are seeking an energetic, young, and performance-oriented Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to join our expanding team in Hotelic Essentials, Pune. This role calls for a passionate individual with strong interpersonal skills and a strategic approach to sales. The selected candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by managing dealer networks, expanding market reach, and ensuring consistent brand representation in the assigned region.
The position involves extensive fieldwork, including regular visits to existing dealers, building new partnerships, and maintaining excellent relationships to achieve both individual and organizational sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, approach, and onboard new dealers to expand the company's market presence in the assigned territory.
Generate leads through multiple channels such as cold calls, dealer references, networking, and market visits.
Nurture and strengthen relationships with existing dealers to ensure business continuity and long-term loyalty.
Conduct regular visits to address dealer requirements, resolve issues, and provide after-sales support.
Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through focused market efforts.
Prepare and present sales plans, performance reports, and forecasts to management.
Keep a close watch on competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies.
Analyze market trends and customer behavior to identify potential opportunities for growth.
Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and other promotional events to increase brand visibility.
Work closely with marketing and product teams to execute on-ground campaigns effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and marketing, to ensure smooth sales operations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of dealer interactions, sales transactions, and follow-ups.
Reporting Mechanism Structure:
The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) will responsible all operational, sales, and performance-related matters.
The TSM will work in close coordination with:
Sales Coordination Team - for dealer management, order follow-ups, and dispatch coordination
Marketing Department - for product promotion, campaigns, and market visibility
Accounts & Finance Team - for payment tracking, credit control, and dealer account reconciliation
Periodic Reporting:
Weekly:
Sales performance updates and dealer activity reports
Monthly:
Target achievement review and strategy discussion with the Director
Quarterly:
Regional performance presentation and market development plan
The TSM shall be responsible for submitting Monthly and Quarterly Sales Forecasts to the Director - Sales & Marketing, aligned with business goals and market potential.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in sales, preferably in channel sales or dealer network management.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage).
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language.
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal abilities.
Proven customer service orientation and ability to build trust-based relationships.
Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic reporting tools.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and target-driven mindset.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned region.
