Position Overview
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on
Territory Sales Manager
who will be responsible for overseeing
sales, distribution, team performance
, and
channel development
in an assigned geographic region. The role involves full ownership of primary and secondary sales, along with a focus on distributor and retail network development.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow
primary and secondary sales
across the territory
Appoint, onboard, and manage
distributors and channel partners
Develop and expand the
retail network
with a focus on active, productive outlets
Monitor
daily field activities
, beat planning, and productivity of field sales teams
Execute trade promotions, new product launches, and marketing activations
Ensure proper product availability, pricing compliance, and in-store visibility
Analyze market data, monitor competitor activity, and provide strategic input
Generate and submit weekly and monthly
sales reports and performance reviews
Build strong trade relationships and resolve on-ground issues proactively
Collaborate closely with regional leadership to align execution with overall goals
Candidate Requirements
1-3 years of proven experience
in FMCG sales and territory management
Strong exposure to
distribution handling
,
retail development
, and
channel expansion
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor sales teams
Strategic thinker with operational execution skills
Familiarity with sales forecasting, data tracking, and CRM/reporting tools
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Strong understanding of the local market and willingness to travel extensively
