Job Description

Job Summary:

The primary objective is to promote educational books in the allocated territory by

achieving the given annual sales target and coordinating at various levels across the company,

schools, distributors & retailers.

Responsibilities



Major Duties



1. To cater to the demand - Selling, servicing and building rapport with existing Institutions &

retailers, making new Institutions & retailers, creating confidence amongst customers for the

products, services and the company, achieving territory targets and following systems.

2. To create demand - To plan and execute promotions to create demand

3. Achieve Sales Growth - To ensure depth & width of penetration in maximum Institutions; to

ensure maximum availability of the products/ brands at all outlets and thereby increase width

of distribution along with the depth of distribution

4. Motivate Distributors - Take maximum display space, sign board so that the logo/ products are

prominent

5. Width of Distribution - Identify Conventional and Non-conventional Institutions & Outlets and

start dealing after convincing them

6. Visibility - Take maximum display space, sign board so that the logo/ products are prominent.

Insisting the dealer to provide maximum shelf space

7. Market Intelligence - Keep eyes and ears open while in the field and be alert to catch the

required information on competitor's New products, Price revisions, Promotions, Schemes,

Service Problems, Personal Conflicts

8. Reporting - Be brief and to the point to convey to your superior, your achievements in the

markets in the given formats

9. Distributor Administration / Payment coordinating and reviewing with the distributor

Minor Duties



1. Performing duties given by H.O. in the off-season.

2. Preparation of weekly journey plan for smooth working.

3. Submission of monthly expense in the monthly meetings.

4. Maintenance of specimen stock (Issue & return).
