Job Summary:



The

Territory Sales Executive

is responsible for driving fertilizer sales, expanding the dealer/distributor network, and ensuring product availability in the assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, promoting fertilizer brands to farmers and retailers, conducting field demonstrations, and building strong relationships with channel partners and key stakeholders in the agriculture sector.

Key Responsibilities:



Achieve monthly and annual

sales targets

for fertilizers in the assigned territory. Develop and manage a network of

dealers, distributors, and retailers

to ensure product reach. Conduct

farm visits, field demonstrations, and farmer meetings

to create product awareness. Collect

market intelligence

on competitors, pricing, and farmer preferences. Execute

marketing campaigns and promotional activities

in coordination with the marketing team. Provide technical guidance to farmers regarding

fertilizer application, crop nutrition, and soil management.

Maintain proper records of

sales, collections, and inventory.

Ensure timely

order booking, payment collection, and delivery coordination.

Collaborate with agronomists and field officers for on-ground support and demonstrations. Submit

daily/weekly sales reports

and update management on market trends. Build and maintain

relationships with co-operatives, agri-input dealers, and local agricultural departments.


Employer Requirements:Education:



Bachelor's degree / Diploma in

Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Science, or related field.

MBA in Marketing or Agribusiness (preferred).

Experience:



2-5 years

of experience in

Fertilizer / Agrochemical / Agri-input sales.

Prior experience in handling

rural markets and dealer networks

preferred.

Technical & Functional Skills:



Good knowledge of

fertilizer products, soil types, and crop requirements.

Understanding of

distribution channel management.

Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Excel, reporting tools). Ability to conduct

product demonstrations and training sessions

for farmers.

Behavioral Skills:



Strong communication and negotiation skills. Target-driven and self-motivated. Good relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
