About the Role
The Sales Manager - SEPL is responsible for acquiring new customers for Self-Employed Professional Loans (SEPL) / Business Loan, deepening existing relationships, and maximizing the lifetime value of each client. This role involves understanding customer needs, offering tailored banking solutions, and ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines. The Sales Manager plays a key role in driving business growth and contributing to the bank's overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities

  • Acquire SEPL / BIL loan customers within the identified segment.
  • Meet and exceed monthly targets for new customer acquisition by analyzing customer banking needs.
  • Provide regular feedback to Relationship Managers on customer opportunities and requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to sales norms and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) defined by the organization.
  • Maintain strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure quality sourcing aligned with the bank's credit and operational standards.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Support initiatives to improve customer experience and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and servicing of SEPL customers.
  • Contribute to the development of data-driven sales strategies to enhance portfolio performance.
What We Are Looking For
Education
  • Graduation: Any discipline (Full-Time)
  • Postgraduation: MBA or PGDM (Preferred)
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in Self-Employed Professional Loans, Business Loans or retail lending.
Skills and Attributes
  • Strong understanding of business / professional loan products and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Compliance-oriented with attention to detail.
  • Goal-driven with a focus on portfolio quality and business growth.
