The Territory Acquisition Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities within an assigned territory. The role focuses on market expansion, acquisition of new clients/partners, and achieving revenue targets by building strong and sustainable relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Territory Development:
Analyse the assigned territory to identify business potential, map competitors, and create strategies to expand the presence through new customer and partner acquisition. The role is mostly field-oriented, involving regular visits to prospective clients, business partners, and distributors in assigned areas.
Business Acquisition & Sales:
Generate new leads, meet prospects, present company offerings, negotiate agreements, and achieve acquisition and revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensure prompt resolution of queries, and enhance client satisfaction to support long-term partnerships.
Training & Development:
Organize and schedule training sessions for new joiners and partners, collect feedback, monitor training effectiveness, and maintain proper documentation.
Nature of Work:
Predominantly field-oriented role, requiring frequent travel within the territory, including inter-city or rural outreach depending on business requirements. Requires a mix of fieldwork (client visits, partner coordination, acquisition) and office responsibilities (reporting, planning, virtual meetings).
Skills
Bachelor's degree
in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 2-3 years of experience
in sales, business development, or territory management.
Strong communication, sales and business development skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize territories effectively.
Excellent client relationship and negotiation skills.
Good strategic thinking to identify new business opportunities.
