Job Title:

Tendering Manager - Solar / Railway / Civil

Department:

Business Development / Tendering & Contracts

Role Purpose

Responsible for managing the complete tendering process for Solar, Railway, and Civil infrastructure projects, including bid preparation, pricing, documentation, compliance, and submission. Ensure timely and competitive bids while maintaining alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Tender Management

Identify and analyze relevant tenders (Solar, Railway, Civil) from government portals, PSUs, and private clients. Review tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs. Prepare pre-bid queries and attend pre-bid meetings with clients/consultants.

Bid Preparation

Coordinate with Engineering, Estimation, Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams for compiling bid documents. Ensure compliance with technical and commercial requirements of tenders. Prepare cost estimates, pricing strategies, and margin analysis. Draft and finalize technical & financial proposals.

Documentation & Submission

Prepare all tender-related documentation including forms, annexures, compliance statements, and certifications. Manage online/e-tendering portal submissions. Maintain proper records of bids submitted, awarded, and lost with reasons.

Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and OEMs for quotations and technical clarifications. Coordinate with internal stakeholders for approvals and sign-offs. Support negotiation with clients during tender finalization stages.

Market & Competitor Analysis

Track upcoming projects and market trends in Solar, Railway Electrification, and Civil sectors. Benchmark competitor pricing and strategies for better positioning.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

Solar EPC / Railway Electrification / Civil Infrastructure

projects. Hands-on experience in

tender documentation, e-procurement portals, BOQ analysis, costing & estimation

. Excellent understanding of government contracts, GFR, CPWD, RITES, RVNL, NTPC, SECI, PWD, etc. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Proficiency in

MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD (preferred), and tendering portals

. Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

B.E. / B.Tech (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) or MBA (preferred).

Experience:

7-15 years in tendering/estimation for Solar, Railway, or Civil projects. Prior experience with

EPC contractors, infrastructure companies, or project developers

is highly desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,828.22 - ₹54,842.41 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Gurgaon, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:

Bachelor's (Required)
Experience:
