SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

• Tendering Engineer for Leader in Heavy Lifting & Transport Industry
• Working in Mumbai, India

Do you have a talent for understanding and communicating technical subject matter? Our Tendering Engineers play a key role, working with our sales and project teams to ensure tender documents are not only comprehensive and accurate but also present Mammoet solutions as effectively as possible.

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL BE DOING

• Working & Supporting sales teams to ensure the best quality tender documentation
• Preparing tender documents, including commercial, prequalification and technical submittals as per the tender format and thus taking the complete tendering authority.
• Preparing proposal, quotations, and all related documents in presales process.
• Taking ownership of other sales documentation including Vendor registration/ Tender portal registrations.
• Studies, Analyses and Evaluates Tender Documents from a Technical Point of View in Order to Identify Risk Factors, Ensuring that Technical Terms Comply with the Relevant Standards and Coordinates with sales manager for the Overall Risk Assessment and Bid or No-Bid Decisions.
• During the Tendering Phase; this Includes all Systems, Products and Services to Client Specifications/ Requirements.
• Prepares Resource Plans and Provides such Plans to the Plant/ Workshop to Plan the Sourcing of Equipment to Site Upon Project Award.

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL NEED

• Professional level experience in operational practices, HLT equipment, sales systems, and MS Office suite.
• English, fluent proficiency in verbal and written
• 3 to 6 years of work experience in engineered heavylifting or heavy transport services, etc.
• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
• A high degree of initiative and attention to detail is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn new skills like commercial process, tendering, and contract management.
