Job Purpose & Scope



Responsible for PT & PD project Tender / Order wise design and engineering solutions required for smooth running of project business: To provide all deliverables to all functions during pre-bid & post bid stage of the assigned projects. To assist marketing team during bidding of the project, execution & SCM team for execution of projects.



Major Areas of Responsibilities & Authorities

• Support to all functions of BU with necessary engineering deliverables
• Guiding the tendering team about inputs during tendering & providing estimation /solution for estimation.
• Study Project requirement, General Technical Specification, General Condition of Contract (GCC), Special Condition of Contract (SCC), Interpret conditions with special reference to engineering, execution and commercial terms
• Preparing technical synopsis of the project while tendering
• Preparation of BOQ
• Interaction with coordinators, project managers and preparation of BOQ
• Preparation of project wise construction drawings.
• Design the drawings & finalize the BOQ.
• Verification of GTP and equipment drawings received through SCM from vendors
• Interaction with client/consultant & get the approval of the drawings.
• Prepare the data/documents for the client meeting related to system engineering, design, BOQ finalization.

• Assisting the Execution with all support like design & Engineering/drawings for erection work.
• Assist the site team to understand the drawings, technicalities & carry out the work
• Update regularly the execution data substation wise & quantity variation.
• Visit site to sort out the problems related to engineering.
• Support to SCM for Vendor finalization with necessary technical clearance of materials
• Participate in the new vendor approval process by reviewing all technical aspects for quality control
• Participate in resolution of complaints from clients along with SCM, Execution, tendering and BU head.

• Client liaisiong for engineering solutions
• Manage review meetings with the client.
• Take up with the client coordination regarding clarity in technical specifications and other aspects of the contract.
• Monitor the approval of engineering documents

• Planning, Monitoring:
• To plan & prioritize the projects and draw up a schedule for project wise completion of engineering activities & allocate to the team
• Review & Monitor the proper SOPs for all engineering activities for quality solutions

Qualification: Indicate necessary qualification



Essential: Degree in Engineering in Electrical



Desirable: B.E. / B Tech




Experience: Indicate necessary experience required to perform the job responsibilities effectively. Please mention if any specific industry experience, profile experience or work experience required.



10 + Years of experience in EPC Company



At least 5 years as Engineering in Power distribution, Transmission Line/Substation/similar line of projects



Desirable: Tendering Engineering & Estimation with detailed Design & Engineering experience
