Job Description

Role Objective

To manage end-to-end tendering and business development activities for OPGW, OFC, Power Cables, and EPC

transmission projects, focusing on PSUs, utilities, EPC contractors, and private players, ensuring consistent order

inflow, compliance, and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities - Tendering & Bidding

Identify and evaluate tenders related to OPGW, ADSS, OFC, Power Cables, and EPC transmission projects. Study tender documents including technical specifications, scope of supply, erection, testing, and
commissioning.

Prepare techno-commercial bids, BOQs, pricing strategies, and internal approval notes. Coordinate with engineering, SCM, finance, legal, QA, and logistics teams for bid preparation. Attend pre-bid meetings and manage pre and post-bid clarifications. Ensure timely and compliant submission of bids with zero deviations. Maintain tender MIS, pipeline, hit-ratio, and management reports.
Key Responsibilities - Business Development & Sales

Develop business opportunities with PGCIL, state utilities, Railways, telecom operators, and EPC contractors. Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key decision-makers. Support negotiations, LOI/LOA closure, and order booking. Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and project tracking. Achieve assigned order intake, revenue, and margin targets
EPC & Project Coordination

Understand EPC scope including survey, design, supply, erection, stringing, testing, and commissioning. Coordinate internal handover post order receipt. Support resolution of commercial and contractual issues during execution.
Desired Candidate Profile

Engineering graduate (Electrical / Mechanical / Telecom preferred). 6-10 years of experience in OPGW / OFC / Cable / Transmission EPC tendering and sales. Strong exposure to PSU, utility, and EPC tendering. Strong commercial, negotiation, and coordination skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and tender portals. Willingness to travel PAN-India.
