Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented

Tender, Sales & Design Engineer

who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of

tendering

,

technical design

,

BOQ preparation

, and

sales coordination

for

Fire Fighting Systems

such as Hydrant, Sprinkler, Pump Room, and Gas Suppression Systems. This role plays a crucial part in driving project wins and ensuring technical accuracy in every proposal.

Key Responsibilities

Tender Management

Study tender documents (commercial & technical), drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Prepare comprehensive techno-commercial proposals and submissions. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to gather necessary documents and quotations. Participate in pre-bid meetings and prepare compliance statements.

Sales & Business Development

Identify and engage with potential clients, consultants, and contractors. Prepare and present quotations, technical offers, and follow-ups for order closures. Support the sales team with technical inputs and client queries.

Design & Engineering

Prepare schematic diagrams, layout drawings, and system designs for Fire Fighting Systems. Ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, NFPA, and relevant standards. Collaborate with internal teams for design validation and project execution.

BOQ & Estimation

Prepare detailed

Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

and cost estimates. Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and MEP drawings. Optimize designs for cost-effective solutions without compromising safety.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in

Mechanical / Fire / Safety / Electrical Engineering

. 2-5 years of experience in

Fire Fighting System

tenders, sales, and design. Strong knowledge of

NFPA, NBC, TAC, IS codes

and fire safety standards. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

, MS Excel, and BOQ estimation software. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines.
