Job Description

Role & responsibilities



Tender Management & Documentation:



Identify and analyze government and private tenders for medical equipment. Prepare and submit bids, including pricing, technical specifications, and supporting documents. Maintain an updated database of tenders, bids, and contracts. Ensure timely and compliant submission of tenders. Review tender information and derive supply and proposal preparations. Clarify bid conditions and manage the tender preparation process. Monitor bid management to align with organizational requirements.

Coordination & Compliance:



Work with internal teams (sales, finance, legal, technical) to gather necessary documentation. Liaise with government agencies, hospitals, and procurement departments for tender updates. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and certifications. Ensure tender documents meet all regulatory and compliance requirements. Review financial criteria, risk factors, and approval processes before bidding.

Market Research & Strategy:



Stay updated on e-tendering platforms, government procurement policies, and competitor activities. Contribute to cost and price calculations for tenders. Analyze past tender results to refine pricing and submission strategies. Monitor and optimize bidding strategies to improve tender success rates.

Tender Process Optimization:



Ensure all tender submissions meet the required format, branding, and compliance standards. Coordinate tender reviews, deadlines, and customer frameworks. Oversee the physical preparation of tender submissions, including checking, binding, and packing.

Qualifications & Skills:



Education:

Bachelors degree in Business, Commerce, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

2-5 years in tendering, bid management, or government sales (preferably in medical equipment).

Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with e-tendering portals, GEM (Government e-Marketplace), and procurement processes.

Skills:

Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.

Proficiency:

MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ERP & tender submission platforms.

Additional Requirements:



Ability to handle multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel for pre-bid meetings and vendor coordination.
