Job Title: Tender Estimator - Interior Design & Build

Location: Noida Sector 2

Department: Estimation/Procurement

Reports to: Head of Projects

Salary- 25k -32k

Job Summary:

The Tender Estimator will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for interior design and build projects. The primary responsibility is to complete Bills of Quantities (BOQ) that reflect market prices and align with the company's requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of interior fit-out BOQs, industry standards, and strong analytical skills to ensure competitive and profitable project proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BOQ Preparation and Estimation

Prepare detailed BOQ in alignment with project specifications, client requirements, and company standards.

Review design drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop comprehensive BOQ for tender submissions.

Apply accurate pricing based on market research, supplier quotes, and historical data.

2. Cost Analysis and Market Research

Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on material costs, labor rates, and other key factors affecting interior fit-out projects.

Maintain a database of cost information for various materials and services required for fit-outs to ensure competitive pricing.

3. Tender Documentation

Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure the BOQ aligns with the scope and objectives of each project.

Support the preparation of tender documentation by ensuring BOQ accuracy and completeness.

Ensure that all BOQs and tender documents adhere to client and regulatory requirements.

4. Supplier and Vendor Coordination

Engage with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations, understand pricing structures, and establish relationships to secure favorable terms.

Evaluate and negotiate pricing from multiple suppliers to optimize project costs.

5. Project Handover and Support

Assist in handover of finalized BOQs and tender documentation to the project execution team.

Provide ongoing support during the project to address any cost-related queries and adjustments.

6. Reporting and Documentation

Prepare cost analysis reports and project summaries to assist management in decision-making.

Maintain accurate records of all estimation and BOQ documents for future reference and audits.

Key Requirements:

1. Proven experience in preparing BOQ and cost estimates specifically for interior design and fit-out projects.

2. Strong understanding of interior fit-out materials, labor costs, and market trends.

3. Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

4. Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

5. Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

6. Strong communication skills for coordination with suppliers, project teams, and clients.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in estimation or tendering within the interior fit-out or construction industry.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
