A tender executive's job is to help an organization prepare and evaluate bids and tenders for contracts. Some of their responsibilities include:
Analyzing requirements
: Understanding the requirements of a tender and developing a strategy to submit a bid
Coordinating with stakeholders
: Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including potential and current suppliers
Managing documents
: Managing documents provided by suppliers, evaluating pricing, and preparing documentation for the tender
Monitoring deadlines
: Ensuring that tender submission deadlines are met
Researching opportunities
: Identifying potential tender opportunities from various sources
Tracking submissions
: Monitoring and tracking tender submissions and outcomes
Other responsibilities may include:
Should have knowledge about GeM & E-Procurement Portal
Preparing tender questionnaires and pre-qualifications
Collating queries and requests for additional information
Assisting the commercial department
Checking, binding, packing, and preparing outgoing submissions
Collecting quotations
Preparing comparative statements
Clarifying bid conditions
