Job Description

A Tender Executive with GeM and CPPP knowledge manages the entire tender process, including searching, analyzing, and submitting bids on government e-procurement portals like GeM and the Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP). Key responsibilities include preparing technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining tender documentation and databases for timely and successful bid submissions. Key Responsibilities

Portal Management:

Identify and track relevant government tender opportunities on portals such as GeM and the CPPP.

Tender Analysis:

Analyze tender documents, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and Request for Quotations (RFQs) to understand requirements and specifications.

Bid Preparation:

Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, including compiling all necessary documents, certifications, and compliance matrices.

Coordination:

Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, technical, legal, and finance, to gather inputs for bid preparation.

Submission & Follow-up:

Manage online tender submissions, ensuring they meet all deadlines and handling any necessary clarifications from the tendering authority.

Documentation:

Maintain a centralized repository of all tender-related documents, bid statuses, and communications for future reference, audits, and reporting.

Compliance:

Ensure all bids and submissions strictly adhere to tender guidelines, legal requirements, and company policies.
Essential Skills and Knowledge

GeM & CPPP Expertise:

In-depth understanding of how to navigate and use both the GeM portal and the CPPP for bidding processes.

e-Procurement Skills:

Proficiency in general e-procurement platforms and processes.

Documentation:

Strong skills in preparing and managing diverse documentation, such as technical and commercial proposals.

Data Analysis:

Ability to analyze data from large datasets to identify trends and derive meaningful business insights, though more emphasis on data analysis is found in roles like Tender Analyst.

Communication:

Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Organization:

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and maintain a structured approach to the process.
