About the Company:

APM Projects Ltd. is a leading renewable energy company specializing in solar power projects. We are committed to delivering sustainable energy solutions and are seeking a skilled Tender Engineer to join our team to support the growth of our solar portfolio.

Job Summary:

The Tender Engineer will be responsible for preparing, drafting, and filing tenders related to solar power projects. The role involves thorough understanding of technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate and timely submission of competitive bids that align with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and draft tender documents including technical specifications, commercial terms, and scope of work for solar projects. Liaise with internal teams such as engineering, procurement, finance, and legal to collect and consolidate information required for tender submissions. Review tender invitations, evaluate requirements, and develop compliant and competitive bids. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain quotations and technical details. Ensure compliance with tender terms, company policies, and relevant standards/regulations (e.g., IS, IEC standards for transformers, power equipment). File and submit tenders before deadlines, managing multiple tenders concurrently. Maintain a repository of tender documents, correspondence, and reports. Track tender status and follow-up with clients or authorities post-submission. Assist in negotiations and clarifications with clients during the tender evaluation process. Support contract finalization by preparing clarifications, commercial terms, and technical addenda as needed. Continuously update knowledge on industry standards, procurement regulations, and market trends in the solar energy sector.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (3+ years preferred) in tender preparation for solar power or related infrastructure projects. Strong technical understanding of solar power systems, electrical equipment (such as transformers), and project execution. Familiarity with relevant Indian and International standards (IS, IEC). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Preferred:

Experience with ERP or tender management software. Previous exposure to contract negotiations and vendor management.
