Job Title: Tempering Operator
Department: Production
Job Summary
Operate and monitor the glass tempering furnace to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production of tempered glass.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload glass into the tempering furnace
Set and adjust furnace settings (temperature, speed, etc.)
Inspect finished glass for quality (breaks, defects, distortion)
Record production data and report issues
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Requirements
High school education or equivalent
Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred
Ability to work in hot environments and lift heavy materials
Basic reading and math skills
Willing to work in shifts
