Job Title: Head of Department (HOD) - Telugu

Job Purpose:

To lead and oversee the Telugu Department across assigned branches, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and academic excellence. The HOD will plan, implement, and monitor academic activities, assessments, and teacher development programs while supporting curriculum enhancement initiatives.

. Ensure timely and effective implementation of curriculum across all branches.

Teacher Training & Development

Conduct and coordinate

Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP)

Teachers' Training Sessions

. Organize

Guest Lectures

and interactive sessions to enhance teaching methodologies.

Academic Monitoring & Support

Conduct

Branch Visits

and

Franchise Academic Reviews

to monitor teaching quality and syllabus completion. Meet with teachers regularly to guide, mentor, and evaluate classroom performance. Oversee

MYJO Implementation

and

MYJO Book Reviews

to ensure quality learning resources.

Recruitment & Evaluation

Participate in the

Recruitment Process

-- including conducting

Demos

Question Paper Setting

Answer Script Evaluation

. Support the induction and orientation of new Telugu teachers.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree in

Telugu

with B.Ed Minimum

5-7 years

of teaching experience Strong understanding of curriculum standards Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
