The primary responsibility of the Telecaller will be to connect with schools, colleges, and other educational institutions, explain product features, and set up appointments or follow-ups for the sales/implementation team. The role also includes handling inbound inquiries, follow-up communication, and basic client support.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to prospective clients (schools and colleges) from provided databases or leads.
Clearly explain the features and benefits of the ERP software for educational institutions.
Schedule product demos or follow-up calls for the sales team.
Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, client interactions, and status updates in CRM tools.
Handle inbound calls and resolve client inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.
Provide basic support and information to clients post-sale as needed.
Follow up on previous communications and maintain a consistent relationship with potential leads.
Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and implementation teams for campaign updates and lead management.
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly call targets and lead conversion goals.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in telecalling, preferably in the
EdTech
, ERP, or software domain.
Excellent verbal communication skills in English and regional languages (as required).
Basic understanding of ERP systems or education management software is an advantage.
Confident, polite, and persuasive speaking skills.
Strong listening skills and ability to handle client objections professionally.
Knowledge of CRM software and tools is preferred.
Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team environment.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communication).
