IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Teller. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and performing various banking transactions for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and other banking transactions
- Process loan payments and credit card payments
- Handle currency and coin transactions accurately
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Promote bank products and services to customers
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and targets
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail banking or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Knowledge of banking products and services
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
