Job Description

Role Overview



The Telecaller is responsible for reaching out to prospective students and parents to provide information about the institute's courses, admission process, and events. The goal is to generate interest, schedule counseling sessions, and convert inquiries into admissions through effective communication and follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Calling & Follow-up



Make outbound calls to potential students and parents from inquiry databases or leads generated through marketing campaigns. Explain course details, fees, eligibility, and admission procedures clearly and confidently. Follow up regularly with leads through calls, emails, or WhatsApp until closure. Maintain a high call volume and ensure timely follow-ups on all inquiries.

2. Inquiry Handling



Handle incoming calls and provide accurate information about programs and courses. Record and update all inquiries and feedback in the CRM or student management system. Identify students' needs and suggest suitable programs based on their interests and goals.

3. Admission Support



Schedule counseling sessions, campus visits, or demo classes for interested candidates. Coordinate with the

academic counselor

or

admissions team

for conversions. Assist in the completion of admission formalities when required.

4. Database & Reporting



Maintain and update student inquiry data accurately. Prepare daily/weekly reports on calls made, inquiries handled, and admissions achieved. Share feedback and suggestions from students/parents to improve communication strategies.

5. Communication & Customer Service



Build and maintain a positive relationship with students and parents through professional interaction. Handle queries politely and ensure a good impression of the institute. Manage call scripts and ensure consistent messaging.

Skills & Qualifications



Diploma/ Any Degree/ PG

Excellent communication skills

in English and local language. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM software). Confident, polite, and persuasive phone manner. Ability to work under targets and deadlines. Prior experience in telecalling, sales, or counseling (preferably in the education sector). Freshers also apply
