Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Lead Generation:
Make outbound calls to existing and potential clients to promote steel products such as
.
Understand client requirements, project details, and material specifications.
Generate new business leads through cold calls, references, and online research.
Maintain continuous follow-ups with prospects for inquiry conversion.
2. Technical Support & Quotation Handling:
Provide technical guidance to customers regarding material selection, grades, and applications.
Coordinate with the sales and production teams for preparing quotations and dispatch schedules.
Prepare and send quotations, proforma invoices, and product catalogs to clients.
Clarify technical doubts related to product dimensions, standards, and tolerances.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
Maintain a strong client database and ensure timely follow-up on inquiries and quotations.
Build and maintain long-term business relationships with clients.
Handle after-sales support, feedback collection, and complaint resolution.
4. Coordination & Reporting:
Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams for delivery updates and client communication.
Record all communication, inquiries, and orders in CRM or Excel format.
Submit daily/weekly sales reports to management on inquiry status, order closures, and pipeline forecasts.
Technical Competencies:
Knowledge of
steel grades, fabrication processes, and material standards (IS/ASTM codes)

Ability to interpret
BOQs, drawings, and specifications
shared by clients.
Familiarity with
industrial steel applications
in construction, fabrication, and infrastructure sectors.
Proficiency in

Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, or Metallurgical Engineering preferred.
Experience:
2-4 years in telesales, inside sales, or customer service within the
steel or industrial sector

Preferred Background:
Candidates from structural steel, fabrication, or industrial supply companies.
