Job Description

The Telecaller will play a crucial role in promoting the institution's programs and services by engaging with prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders over the phone. This role demands excellent communication skills, a persuasive attitude, and the ability to handle inquiries and provide accurate information about the institution.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation and Follow-Up

Identify and contact prospective students

and parents to inform them about the institution's programs and services.

Follow up on leads

generated through various marketing campaigns and ensure timely communication.

Maintain a database of prospective students

and ensure all interactions are recorded accurately.
Information Dissemination

Provide detailed information

about courses, admission procedures, scholarships, and other institutional offerings.

Answer queries

from prospective students and parents effectively and provide accurate information.

Send informational materials

such as brochures and application forms as required.
Relationship Management

Build and maintain relationships

with prospective students and parents to foster a positive image of the institution.

Address concerns and complaints

in a professional and empathetic manner.

Ensure follow-up calls

are made to provide additional information or assistance as needed.
Administrative Support

Assist in the enrollment process

by guiding prospective students through application procedures and documentation.

Collaborate with the admissions team

to ensure smooth processing of applications.

Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports

on call activities and outcomes.
Event Support

Support marketing and admission events

by calling and inviting prospective students and parents.

Provide telephonic support

for event registrations and confirmations.

Follow up post-events

to gather feedback and answer any additional questions.
QualificationsEducation

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
Experience

Previous experience in a telecalling or customer service role, preferably in the education sector. Experience with CRM systems and telecalling software is a plus.
Skills

Excellent verbal communication skills

in [languages required, e.g., English].

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude

Good organizational and time management skills

Basic computer skills

and familiarity with MS Office and CRM software.
Working Conditions

Full-time position. Standard office hours, with occasional evenings or weekends required for special campaigns or events. Primarily office-based with potential opportunities for remote work depending on institutional policies.
