This is a full-time, on-site role for a Team Leader - Telesales at Digital Mantraaz, located in Chennai. The Team Leader - Telesales will be responsible for overseeing and driving the performance of a telesales team, ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded while maintaining high levels of customer service. This role involves training, coaching, and motivating the sales team, as well as monitoring daily operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The Team Leader will play a key role in developing strategies for lead generation, improving sales scripts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of telesales executives to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.
Provide training on digital marketing services, sales techniques, and product knowledge.
Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to monitor performance and provide actionable feedback.
Assist team members in closing complex deals and resolving customer concerns.
Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:
Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the digital marketing landscape.
Set clear sales targets (daily, weekly, monthly) and ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds them.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Marketing team to align telesales efforts with broader digital marketing campaigns.
Monitor individual and team sales performance, adjusting strategies to address performance gaps.
Digital Marketing Knowledge:
Stay up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, PPC, content marketing, social media advertising, and analytics.
Educate the team on the benefits and features of the company's digital marketing services, ensuring they can clearly communicate these to prospects.
Support the team in tailoring pitches based on client industry and specific digital marketing needs.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
Oversee the telesales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth transition to account managers or the operations team.
Maintain relationships with key clients, assisting with upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
Handle escalated client inquiries and resolve any issues related to sales.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Track KPIs such as call volume, conversion rates, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
Prepare and present sales performance reports to the Sales Manager.
Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to boost sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Process Improvement & Optimization:
Continuously seek ways to improve telesales processes to enhance team productivity.
Work with the operations and marketing teams to ensure alignment between sales pitches and service delivery.
Implement tools and technologies to improve lead management, reporting, and overall sales processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in telesales leadership, preferably in a digital marketing or technology-based company.
Strong understanding of digital marketing services, including SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media marketing.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team to achieve goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients at various levels.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Prior experience in the digital marketing industry, particularly in a sales or business development role.
Certifications in digital marketing tools or platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, etc.).
